What would jebus do?

So I leave again for colorado in about a week and a half. I was planning on swapping a stock rebuilt b18b block with a gsr head and tranny into my currently stock automatic d15 95 civic hatch. I'm sort of running out of money and time here, and I'm missing a bunch of key parts still, such as a distributor, exhaust manifold, shift linkage, ecu, and i'm sure a lot of other things that won't be apparent until I'm in the middle of the swap. I still have to disassemble the block and put in new rings and bearings, convert the car to manual, and swap in the new engine. Also still lacking arp rod bolts because of a fucked up order. What would you, or jebus, do?

I might just leave her stock for now. I just don't look forward to what a dog the d15 auto is going to be at 8000ft, and even worse going over the 11000ft passes. An ls/vtec sounds so much more appealing, especially once turbo'd

Re: What would jebus do?

I knew I shouldn't have made the crx option.....

I still need spark plugs, plug wires, the vacuum canister for the gsr intake manifold, material to build an exhaust, and more ---- I'm still not remembering. I think its going to get put off til spring. fuckkkkkkkkkkkk

You don't have time to source small parts and build the engine in a week, unless you have $400 more than you think you need and you aren't doing anything else for the next week.

Don't screw yourself. Sit on that swap over the winter. :y

that was also a strong consideration, except I would have a bit more difficulty actually installing a b18 without a cherrypicker or lift. or maybe I'm just being a -----?

dude easy. jack car up,
slide short block (which should have clutch, pressure, and fly,) under car,
slide tranny down there aswell,

wiggle tranny to the short block bolt like two bolts in to stay in place,

lifit blockk with jack install side mounts.
uhhhh yeah thats how i did it took me two hours by myself lol. :8 :8 :8 :8
oh and on dirt =] >:D
