what to use for power steering hose
long story short, running different cams/towers than stock. stock ps pump ran off a hex gear in the side of the cam powering the pump. now that i dont have these towers anymore, the ps took a hike, and it's worse than i thought. so i'm swapping to a differnt pump driven by a pulley off the cam since thats what the cars that cams come from run. so what to use for power steering line? Ive read the pressure gets way to high to use fuel hose or anything like that, but wanted to see what people knew

Re: what to use for power steering hose
You can get more hose that has the same pressure rating as the oem PS hose. Should sell it at an local Napa or equivalent parts store. Used some for a customer's oil return line, ---- works great and doesnt kink, really annoying to install lol.

Pete you might want to try going to Just Ask Rental i am pretty sure they make custom hydraulic lines, which is what power steering is essentially. I believe they can put any fitting on the ends that you may need, whether its banjo or flared or AN or pipe. Dont quote me on any of this but I would check it out. Also there is a shop on Broad St. /rt 72 in Forestville that specializes in hydraulics and i think also makes custom lines while you wait.
Besides that, how about an update on the status of the car..??
