A wheel theifs best friend!!

Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
Worse come to worse, I once welded regular lug nuts one and spun the locks off. I hate locks!!! If someone wants your wheels, it's slmost as easy to take the car.

Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
They look like my Gorilla locking tuner lugs. Summit has them, not sure if you can buy just a key though

Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
they are oldschool tuners. almost every key made for those ended up breaking. a hammer and a socket are your friend
|
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
im gonna try one of those funky sockets.
|
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
try a 17,18, or 19mm socket thats what i use at the JY O0
|
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
I had Gorilla locking lugs but switched back to standard...
The key actually started to slip and wear out from switching tires all the time. Pieces of ----. ::) |
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
Well a few weeks back i got one of those "Gator Grip" sockets. I finally tried it on the lugnuts and they broke the socket. lol
They are Gorilla lugnuts like you guys mentioned. Im gonna have to track down a key... argh... |
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
spline drive. my runs a set on her zx3. Never had any problems but if she'd ever loose her socket for it. I'd gonna cry cause I'll be the one trying to get those fuckers off. :'(

Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
yep, gorillas. I have a black set on my car. I've taken off my wheels a million times. Key is as good as new.
|
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
hammer the next size down IMPACT socket on them and use breaker bar.. try both standard and metric see which one fits best.
|
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
17mm 6 point socket will take those off. if not autozone sells a nice emergency lugnut remover O0
|
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
Damn i picked up a gorilla key today and its too big. Im gonna return it tomorrow and see if they have a smaller one or mabye try a socket. :(
|
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
i was gonna say... i have gorilla lug nuts, and the ones on your car are not gorillas, unless they make different sets :-\
---- if you can get just one off, it might say who makes them, and the different pattern right on the nut. but your best bet is to just go to a tire shop, or pep boys or some ----.. they should have a droor full of different keys. |
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
Ha ha mother fuckers I FINALLY got those bitches off!!!
I got a key that was just a little bit bigger than the lugnuts (smallest I could find). I then used an impact gun and put alot of pressure upwards so the "key" was at an angle and would grab the sides of the lugnuts with the tip of the key. Took a bit for some of them but it got them off. Im so ------- glad..... Thanks for everyones input (nowe someone come and buy those Nissan wheels in the 1st pic. :) |
Re: What type of lugnuts are these?
