according to:

There are a number of differences between the AA(84), AB(84-85) and the AC(86-88) models with the major differences in power, interior and brakes. The AA and AB model run two different forms of the TC06 turbocharger running 8.4psi to produce 110kw. Due to unleaded petrol, the AC model runs a very small TC05 turbocharger with 6.5psi boost and a cat converter to produce 90kw

What engine????????

It depends a lot on your goals.

The best junkyard turbos, in my opinion, are the T3's from Volvos and Saabs, that's for D-series.
For B-series, you want something bigger, maybe the Turbos from Thunderbirds and Mustangs, or a bigger Diesel Turbo.

You really want to stay with a know or standard flange, like the T3, T4, or DSM's it's easier to find a manifold for them.

ive never blown a motor so my hatch is up. its a dual port d16a6. thinking like 6 psi tops. just to have some fun, maybe even help my car sell. i found a starion intercooler at a local shop that has been sitting in that car for a couple years, so now i need manifold. im going to blow this mutherfucker up!
