What tranny fluid do you run

So my tranny developed a slight clicking noise only in second gear and only when i take a right hand turn with the clutch engaged and disengaged, so i have just said ---- it and bought a new ex tranny with suuuper low miles. What does everyone run in their transmission?

Cliff notes:
-Fucked my last gearbox
-Want this one to last
-What do you run in your transmission?

That clear waterlike stuff they run in the CRV rear diffs. It's almost like a clear ATF.

Honda MTF

I haven't gone through a ton of trannies, or I would just throw some cheap 10w30 in if I was doing it often. Haven't drained my current one in over a year.

Honda MTF FTW. Helped a bit on my shitty shifting Prelude. Still have a quart left, so need to pick up another and change the hatchies.

In OEM boxes... Syncromesh... It works. BETTER than OEM Honda ----..

In the straightcut box I use Redline Lightweight Shockproof,,.

From Redline: Recommended for heavily-loaded racing differentials and transmissions, Off Road racing and problem gearboxes. The viscosity characteristics allow the lubricant to resist throwoff and provide a film thickness similar to a 75W250 grade, while providing the same low fluid friction as an SAE 75W90.

---- is incredible DOES NOT come off the gears at all.... quieted down the straightcuts considerably over 10-30.

Blue bearsnot, LOL!!!!!!!

Shockproof light :)

Currently I'm using $4 a quart Castrol, 3 quarts every 16k miles.

My tranny GOD introduced me to it, I got to clean the parts, NOT FUN!

But helping Jamie Houseman www.racegearbox.com and learning was a blessing. I was such a tranny noob then :)
