I already looked into that, the most I'll get is like $500 as a trade in. The car is in mint shape with no rust, wire-tucked, shaved moldings and flared skirts at the back near the tires. All in all I've dumped about $6500 into the car itself in the past 2 years (alot more than that if you count the different motors and boost builds since then) and I know I'll never get the money out of it that I've put in, so what's another $4500 to make it how I want it and basically take it back to new car standards?

So far new wheels and a traction bar are highest on the list, followed by a few doodads for completing my obd1 swap, then misc. stuff for maintenance purposes like a new steering rack and spherical bearings for the rear trailing arms.

Exactly.

$4500 could give you one hell of a ride, and you could afford your jdm bullcrap as well I guess . But built block, monster turbo, suspension parts galore etc could easily be under 4500. Get to it!
