What is the point of spam mail?
I get like 300 bullshit emails a day from these god damn mother ******* and I just don't undersatnd the point of it. I've clicked on some of them just to see WTF they were trying to sell and what they were offering and the god damn links don't even work. WTF is the point? Who does this? I just don't understand why this still exists. If the links did work, do they expect to acually sell "super penus pills" when they can't even spell the word "*****"? I spend more time deleting spam ---- mail than I do reading legit emails. What's the ------- point??

yea i didn't use the computer for a week, came back and i started receiving mail from some -----hole company, "new fun pages". no matter how many times I click "unsubscribe" they just keep coming. i get like 2-3 a day.

"Your best choice" is the new one. I get like 50-60 of these a day all in a row from different names. ------- ********. I just don't get what the point is?

I think the point is that no matter how stupid the product, or how badly it's marketed, if 10 people see it, 1 will buy it. I have no idea why, but they just will.
The spam that doesn't have working links is only to make you think spam mail is an accepted technique for selling something. Send 10 bullshit adds, and 1 real one, then have 10 people view it, and 1 will buy it. I'm not a mathmatician, and I probably can't even spell it right, but somehow at the end of the day these people sell at least 1 thing, and that's their goal. It's kinda like everything, waste 100x the energy than you need to to accomplish the goal.

the ones that pisses me off are the ebay ones, of people trying to get my ebay info by threatening me about some product that I did not ship. somethimes the product dont even related to what I sell, I only sell car parts there and I get emails about clothes, furniture etc. I got one about $10,000 worth of books that I bid on and did not pay for, I was like what the ----! the only books I read are magazines and technical manuals, as a matter of fact I dont even read them I just scan through them. when I try to reply it want me to enter my ebay password. so I forward it to ebay.
I get these all the time, it really **** me off whats the point?
my yahoo email automatically deletes the junk mail, and send the unsure ones to the bulk mail, so my inbox stays clean.

A lot of them use the 'unsubcribe' link simply to verify that your email address is valid, so using it only gets you more spam.
I've wondered how they can gain from it too, if they have to misspell to get past spam filters, that means the recipients are filtering and don't want them... The **** ones probably still get read a lot, becuase people hope there might actually be some free **** there.
And what is the point of the long lists of random words, like people use as keywords to snag searches, whats to point in an email?
I think some of the broken link are just from poeple to stupid to type it correctly. I've seen work-at-home data-entry "jobs" that sound like thats what you would be doing, sending spam from a address list they provide. I can see a trailerpark woman typing up spam all day with her 10 kids running around, till she finds out she doen't really get paid for it.

yea I get around 4-500 a day of spam mail, and for awhile when I still used the jeff@hmt account it was over 1000 emails of spam a day. I think some people put me on some spam lists or something.
