Hell, my old LG VX4400 would surf the web. Shouldn't be a problem if the phone is internet enabled.

LGVX6000 - Camera phone. 2 year contract. Decent signal just about everywhere I go but the battery has to be replaced after using it for a year. Haven't really tried surfing the web with it but I can AOL IM pretty well with it.

OBEX bluetooth file transfer, etc, would be very pimpy. Get a large-ish transflash card and use the phone as a wireless thumbdrive, internet access, they make great portable mp3 players, etc. |
Re: What phone
I got a 256mb card for it, but never could make the damn bluetooth adapter to work with the computer.
I purchased one of those usb to bluetooth adpaters, it will find the phone but after that I can't see it in my computer. Mobile Phone tools won't find it!!!! User error probably, but it pissed me off. I have to learn how to use that. I really like the phone... |
Re: What phone
You have to fiddle the the E815's settings to broadcast, which is does for something like 60 seconds. THEN you pointy clicky on the computer side to find it. Bring up the phone's main menu:
Settings-->Connection-->Handsfree That'll bring up the option telling you Bluetooth power is off, would you like to turn it temporarily on? |

Re: What phone
the first link has an english link in it. ::)
the second link is all in japaneese, so your fucked. sometimes if you google a link, google will translate it for you. :1 my phone without a plan would have run me about 40,000yen or around $380. I paid $145 with a plan. Its got more features than I can even think about ever using. 2mp camera video recorder bar code reader (WTF for ???) infer-red data transfer finger print scanner for security purposes. (this turned into a real pain in the ass, so I turned it off) about 300 ring tones installed video/photo editing i could go on and on...the english manual for this fucker is about 2" thick. |

Re: What phone
I second Verizon and Motorla e815. Was debating between the Razr V3c and the e815 but functionality won. The razr is pretty clean and badass but its just not that great in terms of functionality. If you get the razr v3i off ebay then that would be a different story... ;)
But nothing beats a brand new phone that works as an mp3 player and for a whooping total of $60 NIB. If you decide to go Sprint, drop me a message, I have a Sanyo 8200 that I am going to be selling in the next few weeks when my contract ends. Its a great phone. |
Re: What phone
i have verizon, i just bought a razr, and just activated it. Pretty sweet phone, i like it cause it's small.
