If you want to look ahead at what might come in the next 50 years look up Quantum computers....

A regular computer uses only two digits to communicate right? (1 and 0) a Quantum uses 2 to the power of 500 digits (yes thats a 2 with 500 zeros)

It is always funny to look at that stuff. I really wonder what the wheel was for. Oldschool computers seem to be more mechanical than electrical in some ways.

"With the teletype interface and FORTRAN language..." I must be old, I programmed using FORTRAN in my college engineering classes along with some other ancient languages.

Woah, old fart, I never even HEARD of FORTRAN. :P

I liked 4thGenTurbo's comparison lol. Predict what cars will look like in 50 years, store it away then look at it in the year 2054. That'll be nuts :P
