I don't think any stock wheel no matter the offset will fit.
Spend the $250.00 you cheap ass. :P |

13's dont fit beacuse of the wheelsize, not the offset.

Re:what offset do i need to run 13" wheels with si brakes?
the offset for the lenso's is +25, i don't really know what that means though b/c i usually see offests in smaller numbers? also i was wondering if that was the smallest possible offset to fit. there's a guy at my track that has gsr brakes on his hatch and he fit some no name 13's on there? i would ask him, but i haven't seen him out there in a while :P

Re:what offset do i need to run 13" wheels with si brakes?
my 15s clear my dx brakes, I don't remember the offset, but as long as they clear I'm happy. my car looks like it's ready for some rock crawling with the new wheels on

Re:what offset do i need to run 13" wheels with si brakes?
I just bought some 13x8 weld drag wheels and I got them with a 5 inch backspace, but they didn't fit without my 5mm spacers. I have to use spacers with my HX wheels anyways to clear my brakes so it wasn't a big deal. I bought them because I thought they would fit without spacers so I dunno what the deal is. I have used lenso's also and I don't need spacers for them to fit over my brakes. I tried searching honda-techa while ago and really didn't find too much on exactly what backspace I needed.

where'd you get the welds? how much?

If your not worried about weight and want to be cheap you can order some steelies from www.circleracing.com and they should be able to hook you up with the right size. I wanted to go with their import drag wheels, but they couldn't get them made in time for when I wanted them. Circle Racing has great customer service and will be more than happy to help you out. EDIT: I originally wanted to get lenso's because they were fairly cheap compared to other drag wheels, but nobody has anything in stock and I don't think they will be making them anytime soon. I really didn't want to pay $211 each for wheels, but I didn't want steelies if I was just going to buy lighter wheels later on anyways. :-\ |

cool, thanks pat.

Re:what offset do i need to run 13" wheels with si brakes?
No problem. Jeff and I probably emailed and called just about every single place that made wheels you could think a while ago when I was looking for wheels. They are a hard size to get.

Re:what offset do i need to run 13" wheels with si brakes?
holy ---- the 13x8's are 14 pounds, that's weird.
Slicks on VX's??? I'm too cheap to buy slicks :P Try to squeeze on some 205s or 215s and call it a day :P |
