i don't really care about this whole "religion" thing but honestly i don't see why certain religion say we are right and they are wrong because it all lies down in the same concept. But it's hard for me to follow a certain religion who rapes little boys, some of them appear to be hypocrits to me, and make their savior appear white knowing god damn well the bible doesn't describe him like that at all

I just go with what i believe in and what works for me..just my .02

The bible explicitly states to give caesar his due, meaning you abide by the laws and taxes of your land as that is being a part of society. The Catholic church, and on a much smaller scale a couple other christian religious sects, has made a tradition out of protecting and relocating their pedophiles. While labelling a man a pedo is as much a political/slander accusation as an actual crime, there have been a number of overwhelmingly substantiated cases where the Church should have turned the priest's *** in but instead relocated them again to work with children whose parents did not know his background.

That group you speak of does claim to be Christian. Know how many followers they have? about 30 if I remember correctly. Every religion is going to have a nutcase sect, this is the prominant one today. I've seen the leader of that group on TV get owned by a tv newscaster; she was trying to use the Bible as saying it was fine what they were doing tand the newscaster spouted them right back at her, completely owning her.

So you don't believe in a religion because ONE SECT wont take care of their priests (and wtf are the parents doing letting their children around these people still) and because the paintings depict him as white? :1 For the record I dont think it states ANYWHERE in the Bible what Jesus looked like, just that he was Jewish, so assume as you will...

And once again very true. I don't like many of the things the Catholic church has done and does, and therefore I try to not associate myself with them

So if you don't follow the catholic church, you follow a made up perception of the bible originaly based of martin luthars 95 thesises. Your whole idea of being saved just from accepting jesus to get into heaven was fabricated by a man in the 1500's. Although, martin luthar was a badass and did stick it to charels v and the catholic church like a ----------er, you're still following a few mans spins on the bible as a religion. Also, you need to stop acting like musmlims are the only culture that have ever comitted atrocities over their religion. Hell, look at the st bartholomew day massacre. 400 years ago about 50 years after the protestant reformation. 100 thousand protestants died over a call from Catherine de' Medici after she fucked up the assassination attempt on the man she thought was influencing her son by marriage. The after math from the catohilic church was that it embraced, celebrated and rewarded her behavior and the slaughter of thousands of protestants. Just because the muslims are somewhat out of the "free thought" loop doesn't mean they're inherriently bad people. They're just alittle farther back in time due to the strictness of their religion and some of the key ideologies of their religion. Veiwing life as a meaningless weak step in the process, and fun is a gift, where christians shop spend money and feel that their whole life is geared twards fun and pick and choose what principals of their religion to follow. This is the same loop all of you religious ***** frown so highly oppon and feel like supressing is the same ring of thought that allows your protestant *** to walk down the street and practice your religion without being slaughterd by othodox catholics.
