this is what i think of JDM...
JDM is a bunch of ignorant fucktards with too much money to burn and not a clue to save their lives.
case in point, i present to you an excript from the July 2002 HCI article entitled "JDM Above Ground".
They are trying to explain to the masses what JDM is.
anyone else notice anything inconsistent about this image?

yeah, i saw that pic while i was looking throught newbieforces and i was like wtf is this, some ---- i've never heard of, a gsr head mated to a d15 i do like the engine bay painted flat black in contrast to the car

i scanned that pic last night, and somehow it's already up on newbieforces, lol. i actually scanned the entire page though, i didn't crop out that section, someone else cropped it and put it up on NF.

Whats wrong with JDM parts?
1. they are overpriced
2. way over-rated
3. if you dont have them, your not hip..
I do admit some cosmetic jdm componets look pretty good. But thats only so I can fit in at honda-tech and make posts or they wouldnt accept me

I made a post about this a while back. I have nothing against JDM parts, they can be kinda cool, but I guess I just get tired of all the hype surrounding them. I've read to many posts on Honda-Tech where some poor sucker posts a pic of his car, and all the threads that follow just say how the car is alright, but it would be better if it was more JDM. Stupid.....

HCI doesn't have a clue. I used to advertise with them when I worked at a bodykit manufacturer in 2001. Ever since then they still send me free magazines every month. They can't figure out who thier trying to cater to. The worst part is when they send me thier new magazine "Scene". It's a whole magazine of pictures of show cars. It sucks.
I have called my old advertising rep and told him he's selling crap. I told him the magazine sucks, and he still sends me that ----.

i like how clean that engine bay is. you cant really see all the wiring. my engine looks like a noodle sooup in there.
