You guys might have heard all this BS about... will this manifold clear my AC or its too hot i need my AC, I dont want to take my AC out... well you know what -------- thinks about all this... he thinks these people are a bunch of ------- whiney maggots...

An AC is not a neccessity... its a luxury... and a civic doesnt fall under the category of luxury... You dont need an AC... if it gets hot... roll the ------- window down... if you lost the handle... use some pliers... and if the heat is too unbareable maybe you shouldnt be driving in the first place.

here are the cons i see...
1: robs your engine of valuable HP
2: weighs about as much as a damn turbo kit
3: your fuel economy go down the shitter when its on
4: Its taking up valuable real estate in your engine bay

the only pro's i see
1: cools your nuts off on a hot summer day (but this can be achieved by simply walking around with your zipper down)

First thing that came to mind when i was contemplating on turboing my car was..."this shits gonna get in the way" and it did... cant run the manifold you want... cant run a decent downpipe, cant route your chargepipes easily.. this thing is more trouble than its actually worth...

i agree with you 100%. my ac is coming out this summer. your right, if you cant bare the heat, you shouldn't be driving.

They say above 60mph you get better gas mileage with the A/C on and the windows up compared to having your windows down above 60

hey iam in florida and i ripped out the a/c in my 96 civic even though it would be cheap to fix, ac suck and so does powersteering gotta love the CX trim level

i ripped the a/c out of my 00 is this past weekend and it get's hot as ---- in north carolina too, so i don't want to hear anybody else complain. imo, the engine bay looks a lot better with no a/c anyways. if it gets too hot, i'll just drive my 'soccer mom' suv for the day :P

Well, since I live in a hotter area than ANYBODY here, I am the only one who can make a judgement on keeping A/C, and I say rip it out. 8)

My truck has A/C though. ;D

Yeah, ---- AC that ---- is out the ------- window already. I still haven't put PS back in but I want to. I got little wimpy girly arms. OK, not really but I hate having to fight with the wheel just to park my damn car.

Hmm I live in tampa Its humid as hell here even if you roll you window down you just get hot air blown into your face. I personally like A/C. I never realized being comfortable was for -----s. But whatever when youre sitting in traffic sweating your nuts off complaining about how hot it is Ill be relaxing in my cold car laughing at your poor ignorant ass. ::)

my car doesnt have a radio. or power steering. all are luxuries not really needed drive for a bit and you get used to it. if you still feel as if you need a radio put a boom box in your car.

Very true. I'm an Arizonian and sitting in a drive-thru when it's 120+ is not cool. By the time you get to the window you're ------- soaked and when they open the window to get your money you feel the cold air gush out of the building and only wish you had that in your car. :'( That's why I'm keeping my ONE air conditioned vehicle. 8)

I left my ac in my car (when my windows would not roll down) i bought the car and the pw were broken. (they were just not hooked up and i was lazy.. so in turn, that equals, they were broken..lol)

once i got the windows to work, (hooked up four wires) the ac went out. havent regreted it once. i live in ohio, so, if you don't like the weather stick around 15 mins and it will change. hot-->cold cold-->super hot. everything.

i dont give a ----, i live in the middle of the ------- desert. you guys can talk about having no ac because all you have to do is roll the window down and you will have cool air. i roll the window down and get blasted by a 115+ degree blowdryer(yeah its about 5 degrees cooler here than in arizona on average). ac is not an option out here, its a necessity. i think half the reason i have been able to stay so fit is because during the summer i lose weight from just driving. i have gone the last 3 years without ac, and it isnt fun. this year i WILL have ac.

however, i agree that if you live someplace that isn't so damn hot i would take my ac out.

Fusck that!If your nuts are toasting just stop by 7-11,get a super big gulp(the 7 foot tall cup that hold 8 gallons) 1/2 filled with ice and the other with you favorite beverege and let that thing ride between your legs......aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh 8)

son bitch! ;D, take it out.. also when i drive in the summer with my civic that my driver-side window regulator is ---- and won't roll down and i never had A/C.. i just bring a good clean shirt alone with so i can put that on when we go someplace... not a big deal.. usually i just wear the beater!!!

when i get another 2nd car and get rid of my current 2nd car i would like a/c in that one but my current civic is my gokart/toy i dont care if people wanna ride with me but if they have to, they will suffer, just like i do ;D actually once i turbo my car its going to have less amenities like all interior removed besides driver seat and dash. dont think of ur car as a economy luxery car think of it as a over gloirfied(oversized) gokart like i do ;D
