my buddy auctualy baught a supra MK III for $500, it needed a ---- load of work, and enw oil pump :-\, but it was sweet

got o autotrader, and shop around, if i had that money, you can find many cars for less than that.

I would get a 240sx SE

do your own ------- research, we're not you, we don't know what kind of car you like. get a 69 impala ss and put 10" daytons and some hydros, that's what I'd do.

I have $2500 in my entire car, with the turbo.
hope that gives you an idea.

I have seen a few CRX's for $500 here and there, get one of those, get it running then slap together a cheap turbo kit, and bam. its done.

91 Civic STD $400

LS swap, mounts, used header, el cheapo exhaust, springs, shocks, and a rusted out CRX Si for parts= $1500

short shifter, wheels, tires, bushing kit, tune up for the LS, and other misc ----= paid for by the parts i sold from the CRX

stripped it and cut the shell into little peices and threw it in the dumpster
