what feels better than....
new parts for the ride?? a BJ of course.
just got the hatch back together after sitting in the driveway since christmas time when the release bearing/spring took a dump and made me break my clutch pedal bracket.
i put almost $800 worth of new parts on her and some general clean up ----, feels like it just came off the showroom floor but better. only had 2 ---- ups in the whole process, put driver axle on pass side and put my steering column in 90* off.(still havent fixed the gangster steering wheel lean)
lower/upper ball joints
both axles
battery
release bearing and spring
thermostat
VC gasket
plugs
trans flush/fluid filled and drained 3 times in one week.
rad flush
pads and rotors
lubed all susp bushings (full poly set, no more squeeks)
re-welded and extensively braced pedal bracket
removed all A/C wiring engine bay/cabin
cleaned up/re-routed most engine bay wiring
new ground wires
new windsheild (appointment next week)
cleaned out IACV
reset timing to 20*
it feels like i sent my car to a day spa, nice fresh and operating wonderfully. cars runs great with the new grounds and cleaned up connections.
