If you had all the money, engineering ability to build what ever dirvetrain you wanted for a crx for DRAG racing, just for 1/4th mile. What would you choose for high hp, best traction, and fastest times what would YOU choose.

quad turbo veyron w16 in the hatch with tires sticking half a foot out the side of the car? probably would just drive somethin else really with a mint sir and built boosted k in the hatch in the garage.

ford straight six, custom aluminum block/head, 12:1 comp and 15psi, mounted transverse please

Which would require TWIN Houseman CG trannys, which are NOT cheap. Custom geared, dogfaced, other little tweaks, your looking at about $12,000 per tranny.....or more.

The thing is it's with all the money and engineering ability, so money isn't an issue. Otherwise people wouldn't be putting mclaren f1 engines or bugatti drivetrains in here.
