what drill bit tips do you use to grind off mild steel in a manifold?
when my turbo manifold was built, the guy put the 1 1/4" mild steel weld elbows in the exhaust flange holes and welded them on the outside to the flange. the lip of the weld Ls' in the flange sticks up a little and i was wondering if it would be worth it to port the weld Ls' and what do i use to grind the metal off with.

just get any kind of metal grinding bit that will fit in there. you won't notice any real gains or anything, but it will help the exhaust flow better, if it's that bad to make a difference, and you smooth it out, you may notice your turbo spool up a little quicker.
