Re: what do you think of rollerblading?

well, i didn't start this post for an arguement anyway. i just like to let people know what the sport is every now and then. it's not in the public eye anymore and im fine with that. it was given too much exposure all at once in the mid-late 90s and it kinda overkilled it.

if it comes back someday, it will come well after skateboarding and maybe even biking have died down. im not saying that they will, or that i hope they will either. i know from talking to some close friends that participate in the other sports, it has lost a bit of steam in the past couple years. but why wouldn't skateboarding lose some numbers?? look at how sold it has been over the past 10 years, people get tired of that ----, at least the people that aren't really in it for the love.

^^^ skateboarding has always gone through its phases of high and low, some say its at a low point right now even, as far as the buisness aspect goes. rollerblading aint coming back, and im not trying to sound like a dick, but all those kids that used to do it get made fun of so much as it is and no one wants to do something thats not cool or hip ::) now and days. didnt they cut rollerblading from the xgames too?

not into the fruitboots....been skateboarding for 16yrs.....and yea you can bail on a skateboard but try a kick flip in rollerblades ::) its attached to your feet...like snowboarding.....and when it comes down to it and you have to throw down with someone giving you ---- while your out skating...with rollerblades your on wheels and can easily just be pushed onto your ass
