Yes, but I've never been much of a painter and don't want to ---- things up, that's my only problem. I usually start good and then somehow mess up while spraying. It's definately cheaper and looks good, but if I mess up then it'll look like ***.

do your 20" rims and your dressed up engine bay make your car faster?

if you like em, get em, but yeah, the only thing i would be worrying about is how the fitment is. they look good to me though.

It looks like the whole light disassembles and you have nothing to mask...Idiot proof easy to paint Looks like they used a flat black primer...even easier

Really though, those eGay lights will need to be dissassembled and rebuilt w/silicone gell to keep from leaking, and in a few years will fade...Your Rex is new and will look retarded with faded headlights w/water in them

The thing is that there are more and more WRX's around here and I just want to look different but not ricey different. I guess the paint on the lights would do it also, and might cost me $3.00 and some time.

And teg the 20's are ordered, they'll be here next week

I'm just going to save the money for my planned ECU reflash, $555 but worth it, another 30whp, much better than lights. I just needed someone to reassure me of what to do. Thanks people, for helping me eliminate these ricey symptoms. I feel better now

actually the rims have a shorter side wall w/ better tires so, yes. and the prev owner did the engine bay. Not my doing... just like your rims right? :P
