My crx is turning into my beater and so i've been ------- around with it lately. I was coming home from hockey and there was a right hand 15 mph turn, i pulled the e-brake a bit, kicked the back out to the left, and then ended up swinging the back end all the way around to the right and stopping facing the other direction... The problem is that a curb helped my back right tire stop. Now the top of the tire is way more out than the bottom and I know I bent something bad. What is the first thing to go on ---- like that? I'm putting it on the rack tomorrow, but I'm curious now.

*update*
I put the crx up on the rack and was suprised at how much I broke. Turns out the whole hub assembly is completely fine, and the control arm isn't bent..... Instead, the whole half of the sub-frame that the control arm attaches to, ripped at the welds off of the frame.... so, I'm just going to pound it back into place and weld it up. Then I think it's time for it to go to the graveyard in the sky and start parting out.

-Lesson- if you're going to hit curbs, don't do it sideways

My cristal ball tells me you might of bent it where the hub meets the trailing arm.But then again the batteries are low.

you probably fucked the rear trailing arm up pretty ------ bad.

Trailing arm, lower control arm, probably upper control arm as well...the list goes on. I tagged a curb once with my old crx in the front during a snow storm...hit it doing maybe 15mph...bent everything up front real bad. You may have even bent the mount points for your LCA and UCA as well...make sure it gets checked out good cause it will never drive the same again.

you gotta do same thing going the other way now, just rip the ebrake and smack the curbo on the other side, this will straighten everything out.
