What do you guys think about this? I want an effective way to vent my crankcase... you think something like this would work or is it just gay?

I'll be running a diesel escort vacuum pump activated by a pressure switch set at ~3psi. I'm keeping the factory pcv and connecting the pump the the valve cover breather. Under part throttle/light load conditions the factory pcv will be working fine. Under boost, the factory pcv closes and the pump will come on and pull about 10" vacuum in the crank. Any more than that and you start running into problems.

That pump in the vid seems loud.

a nother pump i thought about using was the crank vac from an '03-'04 cobra
