that`s why they call it bearing cap. it actually ACT as a bearing

Since it's only one of the however many are in there, get another one and as long as the cam spins, run it.

Yeah, I'll try that. :P

The strange thing, that cap sits on the exhaust cam on the #3 slot which operates the exhuast valves for the #2 cylinder, which I got a 30psi reading from. You can see marks on the cam from it wearing on it. I doubt that one cap would affect anything really, but it's kinda strange.....

I was taking apart the head and discovered it was broken.

damn, that's crazy... and suck Well since you know the car still ran with it broken, I say get one off another motor, bolt it up and go!

Yeah, but I still have other problems. The bottom end is tomorrows "after work project". I can't wait to see what the pistons look like.
