umm...so just don't spray it on your paint. I used it and had no problems. I found some under the cabinet and sprayed it on. Only got part of the front before I ran out. Went to look for some more and came back and the oil/dirt was bubbling off. Worked pretty good. Oh by the way when it says wear gloves it means it, this ---- burns.
