I actually have a B16 tranny that has no serial plate on it, so I assume it was stolen at one time. The guy I got it from is a good friend and I know he didn't steal it. He bought locally attached to an LS motor swap that he checked the paperwork on and all, but he's not so bright about noticing the attached tranny wasn't an LS and didn't have a serial plate.
Then I told myself, well, I didn't steal it, my friend didn't steal it, I don't know who the wronged owner was or is, and when it comes down to it, it's still a B16 tranny that someone has to use.
