when is the last time the cops have asked you if your motor was stolen I've never heard of anyone ever being questioned about that ever

I actually have a B16 tranny that has no serial plate on it, so I assume it was stolen at one time. The guy I got it from is a good friend and I know he didn't steal it. He bought locally attached to an LS motor swap that he checked the paperwork on and all, but he's not so bright about noticing the attached tranny wasn't an LS and didn't have a serial plate.

Then I told myself, well, I didn't steal it, my friend didn't steal it, I don't know who the wronged owner was or is, and when it comes down to it, it's still a B16 tranny that someone has to use. 8)

yes, because thats what they were stamped. if you have the DOHC ZC, its a d16a8/a9.

its in my car dude!
i totaled tie car and selling engine. They want me proof its legit thou.
thats why i gotta find out the way to proof its not stolen.
