Does that make it anything more than it is? A baseball? If thats the case then the bat that broke the record should be worth a million. And the exhaled breath from whoever hit the stupid ball should be worth like 3 million.

Actually the exhaled breath sold for $4.8mil and the bat sold for $5.5mil. The dirty underwear he was wearing at the time he hit the ball sold for 12.9mil.

yeah, i know what you mean...the bat is deffinatly worth that or damn close to it. its all considered "pricless memorbelia(sp?)"...only reason its worth that much is cause it represents history that was made in the baseball people will pay alot of money to own a piece of history. i remember reading about a hot dog that was baught during the seahawks division championship game that sold for like $75K or some crazy price like that.
