There is no USDM Si civic in that year range.

People call their EX models Si because they want to feel better about it.

Uhm...There is a 93 si it is a hatch where all the ex were coupes, I believe they both have the same engine

Uhm...Unless there is a difference between the coupe and the hatch I don't know, One of my friends has an si and one has an ex but I didn't see anything noticibaly differnt, sorry can't help you with that

all civics, 92-93 have passenger airbags and 94-95 have em. I work at a wrecking yard, I know. SI's only come as HAtches. that the only difference. and have rear disc brakes.

I don't know if you mean only USA...but up here in canada eh we got hatches and coupes no doubt about it

my 92 Si didnt' have ANY ait bags or did it? no..i don't think it did...

I hate that there are 800 versions of every car.

Things that are standard on USDM cars are high end options.

if your talking about here in the us. the si was a hatch and ex was a coupe. either way the dash is the same and the front seats are the same. pretty much everything from the front seats to the front of the car are the same from coupes and hatches if your talking about canada. the si would be a ex and ex would be like a dx you know what i mean ;)

92 - 95 si is a hatch and ex is a coupe not that hard guys.

actually the ex is a 4 door and the si is a 2 door or hatch
si, dx cx 2 doors
lx ex 4 doors

The American EX coupe has airbags on both sides, d16z6 engine, tweeters on the doors, power windows, power locks, power sunroof and an armrest. I have no idea what the American 92-95 Si has, but the Canadian ones have an airbag on the drivers side, power sunroof, d16z6, rear disc and that's it as far as the hatchback Si goes, we also have 92-95 style Si coupes, but i'm not sure what they had, probably the same as the hatchbacks.

The 92 &93 canadian si coupes in that year had integra sized front rotors and drum brakes, The hatchie had the smaller front rotors and disc brakes. We only had a hatchie si for 92-93. They both had d16z6, power sunroof & mirriors. The later si coupes had all the power ----.

yeah 92-93 ex coupes didnt have airbags on both sides. it doesnt have tweeters on the doors and it didnt come with no stinkin armrest. all it had was the one airbag which was on the steering wheel. and like high roller has said it has integra sized front rotors and had rear drums. i know this because i have one ;D

i am bored so here is the list of what i know.
USDM
92 to 95 SI are all hatchbacks.
92 to 95 EX could be 4 door or 2 door.

92 to 93 civics has no passanger side airbag.
94 to 95 civics has both side airbag

92 to 95 SI has four wheel disc brakes, ABS optional
92 to 95 EX has drums on the back standard, all optional ABSs has rear disc brake

92 to 95 SI/EX shares the same engine.
92 to 95 EX 4 door has armest.

92 to 95 Ex/SI has the same sized front brake

Thanks for the info. I just bot a 93 2door and it has no air bag on the passanger side. And the title doesant say if its a ex,dx and ect. I know its a v-tech. Well back to my point is the kid fucked up the driver side heater cover. Also wanted to put disk breakes on the back.

it could be a DX with a d16z6.. or could be en EX with a DX dash (mine is EX with DX dash).. who knows

The EX has driver and passenger side airbags.. The DX has drivers side only.

Look for these things:
Does the car have power windows, doors, and mirriors?
Does the car have tweeters in the door panels close to the front?
Does the car have a cluster with tach? (could have been swapped too.. bleh)

The thing about civics is that all of them can except options that were not offered on them. The clock, if your car didn't come with one, has the harness plugged in to the black block-off plater, the mirrors, tach, and other electrical parts can be wired in, and the door shells if you look at them can be easily converted to full power or full manual..

That is why I love my honda.. I have the sticker to prove it!

Give the vin number to the guy in this forum who is doing free carfaxes.. that will give you some more useful information.

dude did you not see what that guy and i posted. the 92-93 ex or any 92-93 civic only has one air bag. ex/dx dash is the same ----. the only way to get a different dash is if you got one from a 94-95 and put it in a 92-93 and vice versa. then you would need a cover for the hole in the 94-95 dash and another thing i belive 92-93 si hatches only have power door locks and a sunroof. no power windows. either its supposed to or my buddies ---- got changed to manual windows
