dont you just 1.take valve cover off. 2. take cam caps off. 3 take distributor off. 4. take cams out. 5. put cams on.6 put distributor back on. 7. put cam caps back on. 8. valve cover back on. 9. retune. am i correct or do people like to ajust the valves too while there in there?

you missed the timing belt part which scares lots of people, you would acually need to put the cam caps on before the dist unless you just want it to fall on the floor when you let go

i could do it yeah. i was just asking what is the going rate? I was just weighing my options. i found a set of GSR cams for $40. Just do not have the time to work on my car for a awhile. if i could find a shop to do it for 50 bucks i could just drop my car off before work and pick it up after work, PAIN LESS. but it sounds like those cams are going to be gone. No need to jump on sombody's nuts for asking a question.

No shop will do that for 50 bucks unless its a buddy buddy deal. You guys are makin this out like its a an oil change. If your not mechanical and dont undertsand tdc/valve lash/installin a timin belt spend the money and pay someone.

If you know what your doin ya its not that hard but from a shop owner I wouldnt do that for less than 150. The rate of a shop is 55-75 per hour so go from there.
