For under 10 psi.....uhhh try Lowes home improvement

Seriously, dont spend 100+ on silicone couplings on a car that wont be boosted past 10. Buy cheap rubber connectors, then save up and replace the clamps with some T-Clamps (buy a couple at a time). Then get your car built to boost past 10psi then buy your silicone couplings

Homeboy Depot couplers work fine. They're cheap as dirt and easy to come by. If you want to be a baller, www.bakerprecision.com

I've got 2.5 inch pipes, will the 3" couplers clamp down good enough on them?

Re:What charge pipe connectors for <10psi?

i got two inch radiator hose, about a foot and a half for 10 bucks, i also got some 2.5, but it was 15 bucks a foot, that ---- is thick as hell though and i would use it over silicon couplers.

Re:What charge pipe connectors for <10psi?

I used radiator hose for one side, turbo to FMIC, and homedepot for the other side, fmic to TB, the radiator hoses look great and work great. The Home depot couplings keep poping out and don't seal too good.

I used 2" couplings on my 2.25 inch pipe. I don't think it seals too good. I would not try the 3 inch, way too big and won't work.

You can pick up 2ft. of silicone, which then you can cut to the desired size, for about 20 bucks on ebay. I think it might actaully be longer, or maybe teh 4ft was 30 bucks, i cant remember, but it was cheap, and the guy had from 2 to 3 inches. I was gonna do that, but im geting some nice welded charge pipes done from my buddy's shop for s decent price.

I thought of doing that also, ebay I think is like 4 feet for around $30, but the ones that I really need the most where 90s, I don't have welding skills ;)

---- those prices are high! If you want a good coupler that is not as expensive as Silicone but just as good use black Nitril. It is designed for high temp and high pressure fluids and gases and is good to 280 degrees. I can get you 2" inside diameter for $8.00 per foot, 21/2" for $10 per foot and 3" for $12 per foot. If you are interested let me know. Customcoach@comcast.net

If you can get REINFORCED SILICONE for $10 a foot you should get all of it. Thats cheaper than I can buy it from the manufacturer in bulk. It is probably the non reinforced kind(no fibers) thats not good for boost, no strength. Do you have a link to the auction so I can see?

Re:What charge pipe connectors for <10psi?

Re:What charge pipe connectors for <10psi?

according to their auction.

purchase 10 pieces and pay only 20.00 each
so that is:
10x$20=$200 + $8 +($2x9) =$226/10=$22.60each 4 ft section
i smell a groupbuy comming on. can any vouch for this particular ebayers product?
