What Cars have the IHI RHB5 turbo???
 

I have this turbo waiting to be installed on my civic, but of course need the gasket from the turbo to manifold. Mine came off a Mazda Mx6. I went to 3 Mazda dealers and none of them have or, according to them, can provide the gasket. I know the 626, and the Ford Probe had the same motor, and heard some Subaru cars had them also. Want to know all the options, so I can just go one day to all the dealerships and find one. Also need the gasket for the HF manifold, but 2 honda dealers said it is a special order, will take 2 weeks!!, but at least I can get that one. Any help with the turbo gasket will be appreciated. If not I will need to make one.

subarus have a triangle flange RHB5. the Isuzu Impulse has a Square flange like the MX6/626/Probe.
i had to special order the HF gasket it took like 3-5 days.

Ok! Yeah I found on a site that 91-94 the Legacy, and 85-91 XTs and GL-10s, used the turbo, but did not find anything about the flange, Thanks. Now the Isuzu Impulse used it. Ok, I'll check those out to see if I can find it somewhere, Thanks again

the subaru gasket will be different than the MX6/Probe gaskets, i know this 100% i have both. the gasket for the downpipe is different (one has 4 bolts, i think the other has 5), and where the turbo meets the manifold/plate is different too (one triangle, one is square).
BTW i have a MX6 turbo on my ZC right now...

Ok, I believed you, I guess I did not express myself correctly, I will not look for the subaru one, Only Mazda, Ford, or Isuzu.

IHI RHB5 are from 1989 Mazda MX6, Subaru Impreza, Ford Probe, Mazda 323 GTX & GTR, I have a custom setup on my 94 Protege, we have a little welding machine and i cuted my manifold, weld a IHI RHB5 or RHB25 on the manifold, then i installed the turbo, the bad part is to get the oil and water lines, older turbos are oil cooled only, but are weaker. You should get a 1989 300z turbo for your kit, its a Garret t03

subarus use them. i have one on my mirage. dav email me and i will give you the details.

or
i can probably ask a buddy from the subaru dealer if he can get you one.

still have packaging , both cost $28 a peice

why not make the gaskets ? All you need is a dremel /hacksaw and some sheet metal.
