I don't know what your into, but there was no better feeling than when I bought my 89 crx for $2000 and knew I would never pay another dollar for it. Now I just consider my "would be" car payment turbo money!
But if your the type that likes a car payment, go newer. :P

Try to find a 92-95 CX w/bad head gasket.. they're EVERYWHERE for like 1000-1250 with a good body. pop in a Z6 and call it a day. maybe if your Del Slow still has its b16 in it you can buy it back from ins cheap and strip it for all its worth.

According to the tow guy, the engine is still in the car but in terms of what condition it is in... I'm not sure.

One of my buddy got his conversion done for like $500 or so. I already have the fenders and front along with lights so I might consider it but we'll see...

The plan is to find some shity engine HB with a nice interior/exterior and drop the B16 in there and turbo that SOB and hit low 13's! =) That would be NIICEE...

sounds like a good plan to me, Del Sols are ok and all... but considering what they are... they're heavy.

get a starion. trust me, turbo 2.6 with more torque than hp is way more healthier.
