personally, i'm not a fan of adjustables. i lowered my del Sol on Skunk2 springs and Tokiko 5 way adj. shocks and LOVED it! it handled amazingly and the ride wasn't too bad either.

buy some cheapo coilovers from ebay. you can get them for like $70 shipped (you're only gonna use the sleeves, not the springs). then talk to racetechfab.com and get some 2.5" ID QA1 coilover springs. figure out the spring rates you want and buy those rates. you can set them up to work with the stock shocks, or go a little stiffer. i went with the spring rates for the stock typeR's so my ride quality wouldn't suffer too much. honestly, i would have gone a bit stiffer even. they're easy enoguh to adjust.. takes about 15 mintues to do the whole car.. just remember though, when you change the rideheight, you change camber and toe. if you're raising and dropping it all the time, you might want to find a way to quickly change alignment settings as well...
