What is the advantage of wide band O2?

Hey I just swaped a OBD1 DOHC ZC into my 93 VX. Original vx o2 sensor is a wide band 5 wire sensor. I run the engine with a 94 LS ECU and it doesn't recognise the 5 wire sensor, i guess it's looing for a 4 wire deal so it throws a cel. A friednd of myne mada a 4 wire sensor work with the vx harness. And the car is running cool. But is it better to use the wede band sensor instead for a turbo setup?

Don't listen to those guys.. the sensor is actually very useful but only for domestic gas guzzling applications.. i'll trade you my sensor which i bought for emission purposes with the wideband.
