ok so last night i went out and raced an srt4. had minor bolt ons (intake, up pipe, 3" downpipe, stock exhaust, ) and stock turbo. i have a 95 gsr with 2.5ic piping 2.5"dp -->3" exhaust no cat. t3/t04e 50 trim 48 ar runing crome on 9-10psi.
so i raced him from a 20 role and i jump out a little bit then once 3rd gear comes along this srt4 starts walking away from me and contunes to slowly till about 130 or so and ends up maybe 2 cars out in front of me. i was thinking that i would have no problem beating him cause when i had my civic. 90 si d16a6 same turbo and ic piping, dp exhuast setup. runing the same boost on the same turbo i walked this same srt4 witht he same mods maybe 5-6 cars. i was thinking my gsr was gonna be faster cause the civic could have only been pushing 210-220 whp when im thinking the gsr is maybe 260-270whp. so what the ---- is going on, i think im gonna get some dyno time and have chris come up and tune me again and add some timing or do something cause this ---- aint right, what do you guys think?

ive raced some similarly modified srt-4's at the track. I always own them on the top end. I've even gone as far as losing a few car lengths, and catching up in the last 1/8th and passing them.

 

maybe u have some leaks somewhere? 10psi with leaks aint the same as tru 10psi straight. does it feel faster then ur civic was?
