Admittedly they do prioritize the lineups so people in dire need get to the front first. The 84 year old man waiting for his 3rd hip replacement is going to wait awhile and that's ok cause he's going to die soon anyway. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago and she was made a priority and rushed through all the tests and her operation and into chemo. Her operation was actually a month earlier than originally scheduled.

As for the Wiki It touches on the development of labour unions, and omg a party with socialist in their name. Socialist does not = communist, please don't bomb us. The NDP and Tommy Douglas developed our public healthcare system.

Cliffs:
Canada consistently ranks higher than the USA on the UN's list of most desirable countries to live in.
Eastern Canada sucks, move to western Canada.

there is no wait time in the US whether you have insurance or not. everyone is admitted to the ER no matter insurance or not. thats part of the reason our health costs are high.

The UN headquarters is in the US but you know what I'm sure you're right and the organization that represents the majority of the worlds countries is anti American.

And yes we can own handguns and semi auto weapons. Civilians can't carry handguns in public except to transport them. Trust me my house is still right ------- full of guns. If i wanted to carry my defender in my truck I could as long as it isn't in the jesse james rack on the back window.
