91oct and 16psi, stock clutch/intercooler/ect...

Results (in order of runs):

9.281 @ 73mph
8.716 @ 77mph (1.796 60ft) wtf no idea how the stock clutch did that
8.685 @ 78mph best pass of the day
9.196 @ 74mph
8.761 @ 78mph
8.721 @ 78mph


I'm impressed with the car, she is running hard as hell for how stock it is.

Yeah it is a 1991 Galant VR4 (turbo/awd)

I only have some basic mods done to her, she is pretty quick for being mostly stock.

Nice times... when I was car shopping for my first car 5 years ago it was either a 4th gen Civic hatch or a DSM (really wanted the VR4) but I ended up with the Civic. I hate pulling up next to a Galant VR4 and seeing it beat to hell or driven by an old lady.

They are 4g63 powered cars (single turbo 4cyl)

Same engine you find in your run of the mill talon/eclipse/laser/1-3 evo's

wow...just wow... i would like to say that soon as i seen this post i knew it was gonna be this bad... sorry most people here are Honda guys and have know idea that there are other cars out there in the world... anyway nice times, Galant VR4's are rare and cool i would love to have one... nice sig too, cuz its soo true ;)

some old lady in are town has three of them sitting in her front yard with weeds growing around them dont know if they run or not but every few months she gets another one so and she wont sell them so they are jsut gonig to waste

I thought those cars were twin turbo? Like the 3000GTs only better? Any pics of YOUR ride? Very cool car by the way. Don't know anything about 1/8 mile times and with your set-up so good job. ;) ;D

anything that is turbo by mitsubishi = 4g63, without the 4g63 mitsubishi would be out of buisness, starion was the best car mistu ever put out imo

Starion/Conquests are garbage 2.6L SOHC Turbo platforms. The engines are complete crap, they warp and blow headgaskets like it's their job. Avoid them like the plauge.

yeah the heads to have problems due to the jet valves, slap a a minivan head on there and youre good to go (forgot which minivan) but a 2.6l 4 cylinder, think of the power that could make. 4g63 is a great engine im in no way knocking it, but anything can be great if its built right.
