Damn i thought you had a domestic there Chevy, you got an import or you got both? Got the turboed sbc dialed in an running pretty good but she just sitin the drive way for now.Wanting to pump it up more but just havent decided which way to go.More compression or Could swap out the 283 for the 350 with forged piston an boost it. Or maybe drop in the caddillac 520 cube forged piston stroker motor an turbo it.I love the torque the cad puts out an then add twin turbo or even a large single to it see what happens.Im got most of the stuff to do both need help desiciding.Chevy i live in everett where you live?Just in limbo need direction. LOL

yah i have both... i have a 85 olds cutlass with a built sb 400...(next turbo project....hmmm i smell twin turbos..) ya i would really ditch the 283 unless u wanted to drop a 327 crank init and rev the **** out of it.. i have a friend with a really built 283... that thing doesnt make power untill 6k...unless u want to drop money into the 283.. i would go with the 350 with forged internals.. there just cheaper to build then a caddy motor

well the 283 spins the rpms but the heads limit it at this point. The aluminum corvette heads i just got with 58cc should do the job if they can handle the solid roller cam...I have the caddillac block sitiing there with all the ---- machine work done (bored/honed/diamaond hone/decks squared an trued off the main line.Block fully deburred an cam bearings installed waiting for my forged piston an steel rods. Also got the huge cam sitting there also.Heads full race ported, valve back cut waiting for valve springs an installation. The sbc needs heads and engine swapped out. Just like the caddillac torque but the sbc also is cheap motor if i blow it with to much boost when i get the t4 on there.Am just undecided an now dont work with Jeff so hes not hounding me to get it done.LOL Got a big garage to do it all in now also.
