went to south ga. motor park with fam
on a whim went to the drag strip today to watch some friends and saw the titan scion tc. its the the 2jz in it with a turbo as big as 2 basketballs. insane.
4.17 sec. pass and the other 3 were 4.2x's. thing is nasty. the driver sits next to the driveshaft. looks like 5 inch exhaust maybe 4.5 iunno. just so happened i left my camera and camcorder at home. wtf rite. i got a cell fone vid of it.lol. cliff notes. to family to the dragstrip, had a great day. my 2 yr old son loved it and we saw a sweet ass race car. awesome days with the fame rock. <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i43.photobucket.com/player.sw...10091556.flv"> |

Eh, ive always felt that a drag car is just that, a drag car.
Personally, I think a fast street car is far more impressive. Not saying that scion isnt badass, but lord only knows how much is in it. What $250K? $350k? Not worth it, regardless of how fast it is. Now 10.5" index racers, thats where its at. Most of them are street cars that look stock with wheels and slicks. ---- yeah. |

i mean yea i love the 10.5 class. its the best but its not everyday i see a 4 second car with a turbo that could eat a cow.
i really enjoyed eye ------- hte car. just looking at everything. i bet i got on there nerves but they never told me to leave. the driver sits next to teh drive shaft. i mean next to it.lol. |

i went on a whim. couldnt think of anything better to do on a beautiful day other than take the fam to the track. there was also a 08 skyline gtr out there. some rich guy that works at itt tech was runnin it. they were runninlow twelves all day. he said it was just a toy car for them. they were road racin it a few weeks ago and it had just come out of the itt tech wind tunnel to test a new wing some guy invented with state of the art gyros and ----. the wing adjusts automaticly to the wind and car and watever it needs to. insane. i really wish i woullda to a cell vid of it. its a 50k wing. it is illegal to leave the country becuase of the cumperter chip gyros in it. |

If I got my hands on one of those the ECU, as well as any powertrain control modules, would be exposed to 110 current in order to fry them the day before it's first scheduled service. Hard to invalidate a warranty when your substandard electronics fry themselves in a cinder. :6

maybe the skyline ran faster iunno. i was more obsessed with the wing he had on it. the wind cost as much as the car. it was a one off made by a mit tech grad. it was desinged in the mit tech wind tunnel and ----. i think hte car is a test subjest honestly. they beat teh ---- outta it he said. he had a guy there tuning it and ----. just way to much money in my opion. but cool none the less |
