Nice sail fish!

The stripies and stuff are only in in summer anyway. I've caught a MahiMahi in NZ (big deal in NZ) and albacore, and shortbill spearfish (also big deal) and my sister caught a southern bluefin etc.

My two striped marlin where 128kg and 143.3kg. They were dimensionally the same, but the first one was more fat. The first one won us 120 dozen cans of beer and a bunch of flash fishing gear :-)

Nothing like the thrill of a big fish hitting a lure in the middle of the ocean. Possibly more exciting than running from the cops? :-)

Fred.

What the hell is herring anyway? sounds like sprat or bait fish to me. Speaking of which, that is a damn good idea! I should get dad to do some smoked mullet (also bloody bait fish really) and vacuum pack and send my way!

The fish here is ratshit too. Besides I'm morally opposed to buying fish at all. It supports the very industry that is ------- it for all of us.

LOL, its bait man!! LOL

Also, your link says that tinned sardines are pilchards! Also bait!! What's the world coming to?

We buy 10kg bags of frozen pillies for catching snapper :-)

Caught with a spear apparently :
