Went to the Dyno today PICS (56K get broadband first)
Well, my buddy just got a 300ZX TT off of ebay for a steal and he already has a bunch of parts to slap on it but we wanted to get a base line for it first so to the dyno we went. I tell you guys, its fucken awesome having a AWD dyno right down the street from your house. Every weekend we get a nice mix of cars and different clubs are always there, so its cool to check everything out. Here's a few pics from today.
This is my buddy Brads new Z (new to him anyway) It has 120k on the clock and pulled a healthy 272 hp and 290ish lb-ft. We're hoping to get back into 300 with a good tune-up. Next week, the HKS Hyper exhaust system goes on. Then back to the dyno to maybe crank up the boost to 12 psi.
A Silvia club turned out.
That orange S15 is sweet IMO.

The Z is bone stock, 'cept for a Stillen air filter. Yeah, we're gonna up the boost a little at a time. He's gonna do the JWT ecu reflash I think. Next week end we're throwin on the HKS Hyper exhaust and a set of Brembo cross-drilled and slotted rotors.

The dyno is in Cochranville, PA. Here's their website: www.xoticmotorsports.com As far as the Z goes he wants to do the HKS ball bearing turbo upgrades and the JWT ecu tuning. A frontmount is in the works and new BOVs. Rims and rubber are essential as well. He's already got the Brembo stoppers to put on and he's thinking about some suspension mods, possibly Tein. You know, just your run-of-the-mill Z.
