Sounds to me like you were running it without an air filter. Your a dumbass for doing that if you did and not buying a non-ching chong turbo and getting a good one wouldn't help that.

I'd look in the classifieds and see what you can get. I'd get something smaller for now just to keep the setup and run that (with a filter) until you can get a good turbo.
