I guess those low populated states are a little more lienient. I know in PA the price starts racking up when you are required to take alchohol classes and pay for them and all other ----. Also you cannot get an occupational license if you get a DUI since it is a felony. |

Now if you get caught, even if it's your first offense you go to jail for 10 days no questions asked. I'm sure the fines have gone up as well. edit: DUI's in VA were a misdemeanor I don't know if it's changed or not. |

since when was a dui a felony, lol. a felony means a year in COUNTY OR FEDERAL jail, while a midemeanor is up to 6 mo in city jail or county.

sorry bout the man. actually you got off pretty easy compare to other people i know that got caught for driving while intoxicated. But let this be a lesson man. :-\

Hope your not on a tight budget your insurance is gonna be through the roof buddy of mine was paying 300 a month for liablity after his dui for his crx up in Chico in nor cal until he said ---- it and just rides a bike everywhere now
