i had to buy my wife 3 rins, she lost her first engagement ring (2ct. white gold, don't even want to let you know how much it was) a week before our wedding, i had no insurance on it

bought her a second one that was even more, then had to buy her a setting for the engagment ring to make it a wedding ring. total, over 9k :P

it better, I just quit my job so I could do better in school. maybe I'll get a cool job so I can be on hmt all day like you and half the other fools on here.

acually, wanna hear a funny story. kinda sad, but very true.

last year, i went to do my taxes. i tried to write off my computer for school expenses, and the ****** who did my taxes said "you paid $2800 for a computer when you only made $14,000 last year" yep.

military pay sucks ***. -unless you are in the right spot. (in japan, i will make almost 3X's what I make now)

yeah, you get 14k a year, but they pay for your housing, 100% free benefits, etc. if you add what you would pay for that stuff in the 'real world', you make a lot more than 14k

yep. with bah,(housing allowance because im married) i make about $26000 a year as a E-4, with 4 years in the service. the benifits, they are ok, but when you go to have something done, its a HUGE ------- hassle. i would rather pay for good medical insurance. the medical is not what its wrapped up to be. i have yet to have 1 real positive experience

money for school. ------- yeah right. if i dont go to japan, i am already registered for wyo tech. this is how the GI bill works, I paid $1200 into the gi bill, then they return with this

hopefully you can understand this) my school lasts 9 months. for those 9 months, i will get $900 a month from the govt to pay for school. my school is $22,000. 9 months, $900 a month, that wont even cover half of my school costs.
