Default Welding Video?

I've been thinking about making a video of welding(flux core, mig, arc and tig).I have alot of #11 and #13 lenses at the shop.I would put the lense in front of the camera.Would it work or would that damage the camera?

You can film it like that. The camera doesnt have a retina so there can be no harm.It wont blind you through the T.V either.

lol, yeah, you can film welding with a camera without the lenses.

I'm sure you could illustrate what to look at in the puddle by using the lenses though.

What kind of camera? You could always contact the manufacturer and get their reassurance. Making a video would be cool.
