Re: weird ass manifold
yea i saw the article in hci. its a crazy design it starts off as a 2 pieces in the cnc machine and hten is welded together. looks like it should work good if the ports are large enuff

Re: weird ass manifold
ya it looks kinda like a hf with heat sheilds welded to the top of it
|
Re: weird ass manifold
I've seen these pop up from time to time on eBay and other sites. But I don't know of anyone who has actually bought one and used it.
They look pretty nice though. The cross section of the manifold looks like it would flow well. I would be worried about the turbo placement in an EF chassis like I have, but I'm sure there would be plenty of room in an EG or newer Civic. It's so cheap someone should pick one up and test it out! |
Re: weird ass manifold
yea the first one looks like it would flow really good.

Re: weird ass manifold
Here is the post he made in For Sale back in July of 03. He wanted $350 for it then.

Re: weird ass manifold
Common sense owns that manifold.
|
Re: weird ass manifold
that ---- is old school.
|
Re: weird ass manifold
is it just me or does that thing look like it would place the turbo way to far forward.
|
Re: weird ass manifold
If Mad Max ran a turbo instead of a blower he'd have that mani under his hood. Forgot how jDm he was since I can't remember the last time I watched that movie.
http://home.rochester.rr.com/interce...nterceptor.jpg I like the on board urinal and the quad pipes on each side. Now that ---- is gangsta. That Interceptor is badass looking. |

I think it would fit in a 5th or 6th gen. I actually like it, it's different than everyone elses, but it's usless to me. |

Re: weird ass manifold
I don't remember, less than $300 including shipping, $285 I think... at the time other brands were selling for about the same and were not AC compatible like this one is supposed to be, so I thought I was doing ok. :-\
Bought it from the same guy on eBay in the first link too. |
