Re:This Weekend at HMT, Lots a Pics..
Nice guys! Really impressed with the manifold thus far Beau, please fwd to me where you are picking those bends up at if it is from an online site... if it is a local supply store, then don't worry about it... we got those here.
One thing that is sort of interesting to me is that you guys aren't doing the swaps from the bottom... Shortly after i got done with my own car, i was introduced to the world of doing swaps from the bottom of the car, and i'll NEVER do it from the top again. These days my cherry picker gets used simply to move things, and to raise the car if the lift is unavailable... LoL.

Oh we still do swaps like that, but at "The barn" we dont have a lift
On 5g and up civic/tegs its a peice of cake doing bottom swaps. All that lovely room.
When we did the LS/vtec on my car, that is how we did it.
I do motor swaps on most Nissans and Kias that way as well.

Coming from a "V8 world" growing up, i went in from the top on most everything until very recently... now i won't do it any other way than from the bottom

Actually, that search you gave brought up nothing but straight-stock... but i found this:
http://www.mcmaster.com/param/asp/ps...+Pipe+Fittings
Which led me to this:
http://www.mcmaster.com/param/asp/ps...530&FT_148=921
I'm not sure if that last one is the dimensions that Beau used, but they're wanting $7.34 per bend. When you're talking about buying a bunch of bends at once, $2.34 extra per bend start adding up, which is why i'm interessted in knowing where he is getting his.. Although you can get Schedule 10 for $5.28 per bend.... wonder if it would be thick enough to hold without cracking... hmmm. More experimentation needed
