I was in this flood, the town is now a shithole that has never recovered, I will never go back there.

Flood crest: 54.4 feet. (Flood stage: 28 feet)
Water flow: 140,000 cubic feet/second. (780 is normal)
46,000 people evacuated in Grand Forks (90% of population)
8600 homes with damage (75% of total) and 1616 apartments damaged (28% of total)
Almost two billion dollars in damage (Grand Forks and East Grand Forks)
60,000 tons of debris removed.
13 days without running water, 23 days without drinkable water.

GET OUT AND STAY OUT.

Re: We are so screwed in Indiana

Water has ceased to rise anymore, I'm sending some pictures to my email from my phone. Just waiting for them to show up. I cleared out my house and garage in 3 hrs. Sleft on a air mattress in the living room last night watching tv and periodically going to the river to see where it's at. The flood waters are about a block away from my house but the waters have ------out so much I'm worried that it's going to come in from the other direction. As the original channel of the river S'd around like 4 times by my house. Flood stage is 12.8ft and the river is at 20.3 now. Now they are talking about Lake Monroe's dam getting soft. And if that lake's dam gives at all this week. My house is toast. And we have storms coming in all week except for Wednesday today. Columbus Indiana is a complete disaster. Their community is about half of Indianapolise and it's all gone. Pictures from wave3 news showed McDonalds roof only appearing, Cummins Factory ROOF ONLY, solid concrete and steel bridges that have 4 lanes washed downstream. It's bad here. Sad thing is COLUMBUS has never in history had any flooding waters, so I'm sure as ---- that a VERY high percentage of owners didnt have insurance.

And where you at JunkyardRacer?
