i got charged 40 dollars for listing fee and 40 dollar selling fee for my eclipse that i sold for 4000 dollars..

I think the listing fee is like 1% or 5% or something. It cost me like $11 or some ---- to list a $600 piece with a few options, so probably 1%.

If it were 1% then it would cost him $3446.1.

The guy must really want to sell it.
Selling cars is completely different. There are set fees for car sales.
