Just thought I'd share this, my own homemade water jet pack that I made this last year. We've been having a ball this summer here at mission bay San Diego. Here's a youtube link to a video of my brother flying 20 feet up. Right now we're using my jet boat's Berkeley pump to power it, with throttle limiting. In the video my brother is flying it and Im in the boat running a thumb throttle I made. There's a close up of a friend of ours who had just shot up out of the water to 10 feet up. Now that we've tested it and it works great and is very stable and maneuverable, im almost done with a flyer controlled throttle using a servo and an arduino plc at the boat. Should work. Here's some pics too. I was just doing some internet research on water jet packs and came across this site.
