Default Washington Paintjobs

I am looking to spend 1-2 grand eventually to get a paint job for my crx. I have heard that maaco's are hit and miss and i know it also depends on your prep work for cheaper jobs like maaco, and earl schye. Where have you guys went or does anyone have any reccomendations. i dont want to put the time into doing it myself

----, don't go to Afterhours in bellevue!!! They messed up my car and I'm currently trying to get them to fix it. Seriously, if you have the time and tenacity, prep it yourself, and have maaco or some place spray it with the supplies to want. It'll probably come out really nice. Sorry I can't recommend any good shops, most of the paintjobs I've seen that have turned out good were homie hookups and the like.

Just curious, but does your dad do this on the side? I need just a lip painted. I wish I could've had a side job done on my car but it was part of an insurance claim (they paid half) so I had to go through the "front door" aka some legit business.
